Rebecca Mae Taylor Academy of Dance specializes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, and Pointe dance lessons. Whether you are interested in creative movement, increasing your strength, flexibility and conditioning, or seeking to master your technique, posture, and placement RMT Dance will support and challenge you.
• Arrive on Time
• If you are more than 15 minutes late you will be asked to observe class only
• Cell phones put away
• Come prepared in dress code attire
• Ballet: Hair up in a bun. NO hair in face
• Jazz/Tap: Hair up in a bun or ponytail. NO hair in face
• Don’t chew gum
• Be respectful of others
• Respect dance studio space, pick up after yourself
• Use good posture, don’t slouch or hang on the barre
• Food and drink are not allowed on the dance floors
• Pay attention at all times, especially when waiting your turn
• Don’t talk when the teacher is talking
• Never sit down, unless instructed to
• Do not have negative body language in class (like folded arms)
• Ask to use the restroom
• Do not visibly yawn or show boredom
• Always applaud a demonstrator
• No recordings or photography without permission
• At the end of class applaud and thank the teacher
